How long will you stay at our wedding? Unlike a lot of other videographers I will be at your wedding all day. From bridal preparations in the morning all the way until after the first dance. I usually finish about 10pm. I promise to capture everything in between so that you are given the perfect wedding film.
How will we receive our wedding videos? You will receive a secure password-protected link to a digital download. From there you will be able to save your wedding videos to your PC. You will also receive your wedding videos on a hand-carved personalised USB box. This will be posted to you via recorded delivery.
Where are you based? I am based in Waterford, Ireland.
How soon will we get the films? You will receive your wedding films between 6-12 weeks after your wedding date. You will receive your one minute Instagram trailer just seven days after your wedding.
How do we book you? Send me a message via my contact form to check my availability, and if you want to confirm my services I will add your details to my diary and book you in. It's all very simple.
How do I pay? Is a deposit required? To confirm your date I ask for a 20% deposit to hold the date for you. The rest of the payment is due at least one month before your wedding date. This can be paid via secure bank transfer.
Do you charge for travel? Travel is free for weddings in Waterford, Kilkenny and Wexford. I charge for travel outside of these counties. The price will be confirmed on booking.
Who will be filming & editing our wedding video? I am a solo shooter and work on my own so it will be me on your day. I am involved in every stage of your wedding, from planning all the way through to post production. It's the reason I am able to create such amazing videos for my couples.
Do you require a meal on the day? Yes please. Speak to your venue who will be able to arrange some food for me on the day. Bar food is fine.
Do we pick the music for our wedding films? I like to maintain full creative control over my wedding videos. I source my music from royalty-free subscription services and edit my videos in time with my music choice. A lot of time and effort goes into this so the choice of the music is down to me. But I am happy to accept any recommendations on the style of music you would like me to use. You've gotten this far so I'm guessing you like what you see! I am unable to use any popular/chart music in your wedding films due to licensing issues.
What equipment do you use? I use the latest high definition Sony A7SII DSLR cameras.
Do you put all of your wedding videos online? Yes. I like to use a lot of wedding films as promotional material to help promote my business. This includes putting your wedding video on my website for other potential clients to see, and using short clips of your wedding film on my social media pages. If you would prefer I did not use your wedding film in this way then please let me know before you book.
We’re concerned a videographer might be distracting. I am very discreet on the day with only a few shots that I may need your help with. These generally occur during your photo-shoot. Outside of this I don't interact with the guests in any way but if someone wants to have a chat I'm more then happy to speak with them. You won't know I'm there most of the time!
How long will our wedding video be? Your Instagram trailer will be one minute long. Your cinematic highlights film will be about 4-6 minutes long. Your full wedding film will be about 60-90 minutes long depending on the day, I.E. how long the ceremony and speeches go on for on the day.
